Expert-led reading experience
By David MB Brown
Northern Ireland, 1971–72: extreme violence pushes the people and security forces to their limits. A soldier turned terrorist vows to kill his former comrades, while bombs and street violence devastate innocent lives. Once again, Bomber Brown finds himself in the thick of the action, relying on his elite reconnaissance platoon, training, and initiative to survive a deadly enemy determined to kill him. Only the deadliest aim and strongest will to win will determine who survives. Haunted by recurring nightmares, Bomber finally screams to God for help.

David served in the British Army for nearly forty years, joining at the age of 15 as an Infantry Junior Leader. He was later commissioned from the ranks and retired at age 55 with the rank of Major. During his military career, he saw combat in the Middle East in 1964–65 and completed multiple tours of duty in Northern Ireland during the terrorist conflict in 1969 and 1976. After retiring from the Army, he became a professional mountaineering instructor. He now lives in Spain, where he spends his time writing, producing a quarterly magazine called The Rock, and playing golf—by his own admission, badly.
